Introduction
Welcome to Promo Tech. By accessing or using our website, requesting a quotation, or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Our Services
Promo Tech provides branded promotional products, corporate apparel, corporate gifts, custom sourcing, online company stores, warehousing, fulfilment solutions, web development and related branding services.
All products and services are subject to availability and may be amended or discontinued without prior notice.
2. Quotations & Orders
- All quotations are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.
- Pricing is subject to change due to supplier pricing, exchange rate fluctuations or material cost increases.
- An order is considered confirmed only upon receipt of an official purchase order, signed quotation, or required payment.
- Any changes requested after order confirmation may result in additional costs and revised production timelines.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified on each quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Production will only commence once the required payment has been received.
- Outstanding balances must be settled before goods are released.
- Late payments may incur interest and may delay production or delivery.
4. Artwork & Branding Approval
All branded products require final artwork approval before production.
It is the client’s responsibility to carefully review all artwork proofs, including:
- Spelling
- Colours
- Sizes
- Logo placement
- Product details
Once artwork has been approved, Promo Tech cannot accept responsibility for any errors contained within the approved proof.
5. Production & Lead Times
Production and delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on:
- Product availability
- Supplier lead times
- Manufacturing schedules
- Courier delays
- Customs clearance (where applicable)
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Promo Tech will make every reasonable effort to meet agreed delivery dates but cannot guarantee delivery on specific dates.
6. Delivery
Delivery charges are quoted separately unless otherwise specified.
Risk and responsibility for the goods pass to the client once the order has been collected or handed to the nominated courier or freight provider.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that delivery information provided is accurate.
7. Returns & Cancellations
As the majority of our products are custom branded:
- Branded or customised products cannot be returned unless they are defective or supplied incorrectly.
- Any shortages or defects must be reported within 5 business days of delivery.
- Returns must be approved by Promo Tech before any goods are returned.
Approved refunds or replacements will be processed as quickly as reasonably possible.
8. Intellectual Property
All artwork, designs, mock-ups, website content, graphics and creative material produced by Promo Tech remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No material may be reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission.
Client-supplied logos and artwork remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Limitation of Liability
Promo Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from the use of our products or services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods or services supplied for the relevant order.
10. Privacy
Any information submitted through our website or quotation forms will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
